If the world is managing the Corona crisis, I ask why it has come to us. It has common causes with the climate crisis, e.g. we fly too much. Wild animals, livestock and animal products are transported around the globe. Another reason is factory farming, e.g.  swine flu, bird flu, or Spanish flu. We humans are claiming more and more wildlife habitats for ourselves. Environmental degradation affects natural species communities. As a result, contact between wildlife, livestock and humans is increasing. The Corona crisis shows that humanity has reached a turning point, it must preserve the remaining natural areas. Otherwise the pandemics will repeat themselves.

The response of the states shows that with strong crisis action, containment of the Corona crisis is possible. This is exactly what we need for the climate crisis. The viewer is an actor at the counter who can influence both crises.
